Teacher Training
The 600 hour Teacher Training program at Oceanside College of Beauty will prepare you to help the next generation of cosmetologists reach their full potential! This program is designed for licensed cosmetologists who are interested in becoming cosmetology instructors. You could find yourself working at a beauty school or as an educator for a product company.
Classes will include a variety of instructional techniques that will prepare you to work with a wide range of students. We'll also educate you on how to evaluate your students' progress in class. Our classes on organizational techniques and lesson planning will help you provide the best education possible for your beauty school students.
Once you've completed your classes, you'll also have a chance to practice your new teaching skills in an Oceanside College of Beauty classroom. Our Teacher Training students start working with the next generation of beauty professionals right away!

Total theory hours come to a minimum of 390 hours. The remaining hours are not specified and are to be used to complete operations within areas determined to be a need for the student, to total 600 hours.
